Data-encryption startup Basis Theory has named former Klarna and Apple attorney Jin Han as general counsel, with a special focus on overseeing the compliance road map it provides clients.
Han was most recently head of product and regulatory legal for Afterpay, a division of payment fintech Block. He and Basis Theory are based in the San Francisco Bay area.
