Arkansas-based Tyson Foods appointed Adam Deckinger as general counsel. He replaces Chief Legal Officer Amy Tu, who the company promoted to chief administrative officer and international division president last September.

Deckinger, who joined the company in 2018, most recently was head of law and compliance. Before Tyson, Deckinger spent four years as senior litigation counsel at Boeing. He earlier practiced at Boies Schiller Flexner.

Tyson CEO Donnie King said Deckinger is the right pick to lead Tyson's legal department during a period when the company is consolidating offices into a single world headquarters, an ambitious reorganization dubbed "OneTyson."
