Fresh off a $41 million purchase of the self-checkout company Three Square Market, the cashless payments firm Cantaloupe just made another big acquisition: hiring veteran Discover Financial Services attorney Anna Novoseletsky as chief legal and compliance officer.

Novoseletsky, who announced the move on LinkedIn on Tuesday, had been with Discover for 11 years. At Discover, she advised senior executives on the risks surrounding its global business plans and helped set strategy in the payments business.
