Viet Dinh, chief legal and policy officer of Fox Corp., said he was "skeptical" of allegations that the 2020 presidential election had been rigged by two voting companies, but didn't dismiss them.

"There was a period of time when allegations were made that I was skeptical of, but I allowed the possibility that they may be true," Dinh said in a deposition made public Tuesday evening by Susman Godfrey, the firm representing Dominion Voting Systems in a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News.

Under questioning from Dominion attorney Stephen Shackelford, Dinh said he "allowed room for the allegations to be shown" that Dominion's software and algorithms had manipulated vote counts, at least from November through mid-December, when the election results were certified.
