Cloud providers are the latest target of the Federal Trade Commission as it continues to put the screws to Big Tech on competition.

Through a request for information on tech companies’ business practices, the FTC is laying the groundwork for a future enforcement action against the cloud computing market’s biggest players, said Benjamin Rossen, a former senior attorney at the FTC’s privacy and identity protection division.
