Deutsche Bank has hired its next general counsel, appointing Friederike Rotsch to the role.

Rotsch has joined from pharmaceuticals giant Merck Group, where she has been for the last 17 years, including the last nine years as group general counsel. She was also an associate at Hengeler Mueller between 2001 and 2005.
