LA-based air travel startup Surf Air Mobility announced Friday it has hired former SpaceX General Counsel David Anderman, who will join the company as chief legal officer. Anderman is more than just an aerospace veteran and has serious M&A experience, as well.

Surf Air, which was founded in 2013, offers members access to private charter flights in California for a fixed monthly fee. Surf Air Mobility is its parent company and operates Blackbird, another character flight marketplace.
