One of California's largest private landowners is going back to an old well to fill its vacant general counsel position.
Lebec, California-based Tejon Ranch Co., which owns 270,000 acres 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Bakersfield, has hired Michael Houston as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
