Apollo Global Management chief legal officer John Suydam received total compensation of $8.4 million in 2022, the private equity giant disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday.

It's not clear how that stacks up to his compensation the prior year. Suydam, who has been the New York-based company's legal chief since 2006, in 2021 was not among the five highly paid executives for whom the SEC requires compensation disclosure.
