Bedeviled by weak global demand, chemical company Celanese Corp. is hoping to stoke results by changing up the C-suite, including replacing Anne Lynne Puckett, who's been senior vice president and general counsel for five years.

Irving, Texas-based Celanese, which has $9.7 billion in revenue and 13,000 employees, said this week that it has appointed Ashley Duffie, currently vice president and chief procurement officer, to replace Puckett.
