Stripe Chief Legal Officer Patricia “Trish” Walsh, who in September accepted an offer to become general counsel of insurance giant American International Group, has rescinded her decision and will stay with Stripe.

Walsh was to start at New York-based company Friday. In a news release on Thursday announcing the promotion of Interim General Counsel Rose Marie Glazer to the permanent GC post, AIG said Walsh had recently decided to stay at Stripe.
