Lordstown Motors, the once-vaunted electric truck manufacturer that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June, has dismissed its general counsel of the past two years, Melissa Leonard, according to a regulatory filing this week.

Leonard, whose termination was effective Dec. 19, is enjoying a soft landing, however. Another regulatory filing disclosed that she'll receive $550,000 in severance, and her LinkedIn profile noted that she already has returned as partner to Baker & Hostetler, where she worked before taking the job.
