Exxon Mobil said Wednesday that Craig Morford is stepping down as general counsel and will be succeeded by Jeffrey Taylor, who's jumping to the oil-and-gas giant from Fox Corp.
The departure of Morford, who's been GC since 2000, has long been anticipated. In February, he turned 65, which normally is the Spring, Texas-based company's mandatory retirement age for executives.
