For all the anxiety over generative AI's uncertain legal implications—even its perceived threat to job security in the legal department—the technology making lawyers go mental may actually help their mental health.
This apparent contradictory finding by contract management platform Ironclad, in its 2024 State of AI in Legal report, is predicated on AI's potential to take over mundane and unsatisfying tasks contributing to lawyer burnout.
