The identify-theft firm Semperis has hired a cybersecurity veteran, Annabel Lewis, as chief legal officer, one of a trio of C-suite hires the company has made in the wake of raising $125 million in growth financing.

The 11-year-old Hoboken, New Jersey-based company raised the money from JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Hercules Capital. The infusion, which comes on top of raising $200 million two years ago in a round backed by private equity giant KKR, pushed Semperis’ valuation above $1 billion, putting it in unicorn territory.
