Hertz has promoted former Twitter legal executive Katherine Lee Martin to general counsel.
Martin has been interim GC of the Estero, Florida-based rental car giant since April, when her boss, Colleen Batcheler, departed to take the legal reins of Austin, Minnesota-based Hormel. Batcheler had been Hertz GC for two years, following a 13-year run as legal chief Chicago-based Conagra, a top Hormel rival.
