Environmental Group Launches Greenwashing Complaints Against Lululemon in France and Canada
As competition regimes around the world look to rein in deceptive environmental claims, multinationals are likely to face investigations in multiple jurisdictions.

Sartorial reviews may be split on Lululemon's Canadian Olympic team kit, but just days before the athletes floated down the Seine in their new threads, their official team supplier was hit with a greenwashing complaint by France's competition regulator.
With the 2024 Paris Olympic Games' pushing its sustainability and climate-friendly messaging, environmental group Stand.earth took action against global apparel company Lululemon, submitting the first-of-its-kind complaint to France's Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control on July 24.
