Rashida La Lande, who two days ago resigned as Kraft Heinz’s legal chief, will join The Estée Lauder Cos. as executive vice president and general counsel, the cosmetics giant announced Wednesday.

La Lande will succeed Deirdre Stanley, who stepped down in March after four years in the role in order to pursue a “new chapter,” the company said at the time. She came to New York City-based Estée Lauder from the news and information company Thomson Reuters, where she’d been general counsel.
