Generation Z employees are two and a half times more likely to agree that it’s OK to bend the rules if needed to get the job done than their baby boomer work colleagues, according to a new report on trends in corporate codes of conduct and how employees engage with them.

The 2024 Code of Conduct Report from New York City-based LRN Corp. found that 29% of Gen Z employees said it was fine to break the rules to get the job done, compared with 12% of boomers.
