Google has promoted senior litigation counselor Makesha Patterson to head of general litigation. Patterson, a 13-year veteran at the company, made the announcement on LinkedIn.
The move comes as the Mountain View, California-based tech giant restructures its legal department, which is leading to myriad high-level departures. Among those exiting are Chief Privacy Officer Keith Enright and Director of Competition Law Matthew Bye, Law.com reported in June.
