News this week isn't comforting.  World Justice Project's release of the 2024 Global Rule of Law Rankings saw the US ranking for "Lawful Transition of Power" drop a whopping 6 points from last year to 43rd out of 142 countries.  That means low election confidence.  Mental health met politics in the American Psychology Association's 2024 report on stress factors, finding that between 73 and 80% of Americans see the nation's future as a top stressor (I sympathize).  Most also worry that Presidential election results will bring violence.

Part 1 (last week) of this article for corporate legal leaders with US operations was about preparing for the initial Election risks.  It shared reliable research projecting concerns of violence or disruption, at the polls and in the weeks after.
