The Church Pension Group, the $17.5 billion pension fund for the Episcopal Church, has hired veteran general counsel Julian Chung as its next legal chief.
Chung succeeds Nancy Sanborn, who is retiring at the end of the year after 13 years at the legal helm, where she helped build its in-house team and strengthen its corporate governance practices for the more than 100-year-old fund. A spokesperson for the New York City-based CPG said Chung started on Monday overseeing a legal team of six.
