King Kullen, the 26-store Long Island grocery chain recognized by the Smithsonian for opening the first U.S. supermarket nearly a century ago, has appointed veteran New York attorney Christopher Mansfield as general counsel.

Mansfield joins the family-owned company after working as outside counsel for King Kullen for more than two decades while at three different law firms, most recently as a partner at Cullen and Dykman, where he has practiced since 2020.
