The general counsel of EV startup Canoo has resigned and been replaced by his deputy, the struggling company disclosed in a regulatory filing this week.
Hector Ruiz joined Canoo in early 2021 and became general counsel and corporate secretary in May of that year. No reason for his departure was given in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
