Kelly Mahon Tullier, chief legal officer of Visa from 2014 until her promotion to vice chair in 2021, received $13.2 million in compensation in the company's 2024 fiscal year, a 6% jump from the same period a year earlier, according to its recently released proxy.

Tullier is among a growing number of legal chiefs who in recent years have taken on expanded responsibilities and received handsome pay increases in doing so. Her initial promotion was to vice chair and chief people and administrative officer. In early 2023, her title changed to vice chair and chief people and corporate affairs officer.
