The Meat Institute, which represents packers and processors of beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry and processed meat, has promoted veteran meat and poultry industry lawyer Bryan Burns to general counsel.
Burns has served as vice president and associate general counsel of the organization since joining it in 2022. He will succeed Mark Dopp, who will retire as chief operating officer and general counsel in March 2025.
