Just days before she will surrender the gavel as chair of the Federal Trade Commission, Lina Khan—and the FTC's Democratic majority—filed a massive right-to-repair lawsuit against Deere & Co. on Wednesday, drawing a rebuke from her imminent successor for "the stench of partisan motivation."

Republican FTC Commissioner Andrew Ferguson blasted the Democrats for suing while regulators were negotiating with the company to address farmers' complaints that they are forced to rely solely on John Deere service centers, driving up downtime and repair costs.
