The Federal Trade Commission has launched an inquiry into institutional investor ownership of single-family rental homes, citing concerns about market concentration and rising rents.
At its open monthly meeting Tuesday, the FTC also discussed a newly released second interim report on pharmacy benefit managers for allegedly marking up so-called specialty drugs dispensed at their pharmacies.
