Two years after capturing its first and only World Series title, the Texas Rangers are searching for a new general counsel.
The team posted a listing online yesterday soliciting applications for an attorney to lead its legal department. Erin Kearney, the organization's general counsel for the past five years, is no longer listed on the team's front-office roster.
