Duetti, the music-financing platform that has raised more than $235 million to help independent artists monetize their catalogs, has hired Sachin Premnath as its first general counsel.
Premnath joins Duetti from Netflix, where he helped manage the company's vast library of master and publishing assets commissioned from composers, artists and songwriters. During his five years at Netflix, he also helped shape the music strategy for its gaming division.
