A new study on ethics reporting hotlines suggests a growing commitment to organizational accountability, with internal reports soaring 25.5% worldwide last year.
But 2025 State of Ethics Reporting Hotlines shows only a marginal change in the number of such reports filed in the U.S. between 2023 and 2024—raising questions whether more employees are bypassing internal reporting channels for federal government whistleblower programs offering potential Powerball-sized payouts for juicy tips.
