Atmel Corporation blamed former general counsel Michael Ross for two scandals at the semiconductor company, but now he’s fighting back against one set of accusations.
Ross and other executives were fired for the first problem—misuse of travel funds—in 2006. A year later, Atmel said Ross was also partly responsible for a second problem—backdated stock options.
