With the Obama administration in office, there have been changes at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

CFTC chair and Obama appointee Gary Gensler is pushing for tighter regulations of the markets. Now the commission has tapped an attorney with a long history of improving government oversight to head up its legal team. In June, the CFTC named Dan Berkovitz its general counsel. He replaces Terry Arbit.
