Founded in 1994, Yahoo Inc. is one of the earliest and biggest names on the Internet. According to digital measurement firm ComScore, Yahoo is the second-most used search engine in the United States behind Google. The company is in the middle of a major rebuilding effort that’s provided a lot of headlines, including a search partnership with Microsoft Corp. that was cleared by federal and European regulators in February. The company, which trades on the Nasdaq (YHOO), generated $6.5 billion in revenues in 2009, down 10 percent from 2008.
