SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 13, 2010 – Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce that Robert Pringle was named the 2010 Antitrust Lawyer of the Year by the California State Bar Antitrust & Unfair Competition Section. A partner in the firm’s San Francisco office, Pringle was selected by the section’s Executive Committee and will be honored at a gala dinner in October following the annual Golden State Institute, a series of antitrust and unfair competition seminars presented by the Section.
Each year since 1991, the Section has presented the Antitrust Lawyer of the Year award to the antitrust lawyer the Executive Committee believes is among the most prominent, respected and successful attorneys in terms of impact on the profession, and one who exemplifies the highest standards of collegiality, professionalism and commitment to the practice. The Executive Committee is composed of plaintiffs’ lawyers, defense lawyers, in-house counsel and lawyers from the federal, state and local antitrust enforcement agencies.
