When Pentair, Inc.‘s first-ever general counsel announced his retirement early this year, the water treatment and storage system provider didn’t have to look far for a replacement. Minneapolis-based Pentair simply dipped into its own pool of talent and appointed assistant general counsel Angela Lageson senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary.

Lageson will succeed Louis Ainsworth, who’s set to retire in mid-2010 after a 13-year tenure with Pentair.
