The number of U.K. firms outsourcing their routine legal work continues to grow. The trend remains strong enough that the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is considering issuing guidelines on outsourcing in the next edition of its official handbook, due out in April.
Meanwhile, law firms are employing a variety of approaches to outsourcing, ranging from using outside companies and smaller law firms to setting up their own less expensive offices overseas.
