Former general counsel Howard Udell, caught up in his company’s Oxycontin scandal, has officially filed a notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia in an action to save his career in health care.
In the much-watched case that could affect the careers of other corporate executives, Udell was debarred from his work for 12 years, along with two other executives, under the “responsible corporate officer doctrine.”
