Legal software vendor Aderant stayed on the minds of International Legal Technology Association conference attendees in Nashville on Wednesday, providing a glimpse into the future of its product line, separate from its recent acquisitions of Client Profiles and CompuLaw.

Senior vice presidents David Flynn and Mike Barry stated their devotion to Microsoft’s servers and services roadmap and emphasized that Aderant’s product input is dependent on customer input. Aderant version 8.0 is due by the end of November, with new modules for project, rates, and time management, they said. Within the next year, Aderant software will use the Windows Azure cloud services, and there will be new mobile editions and HTML 5 support, they added, on a session about the company direction.
