Eight years after arriving at Kaye Scholer with a splash from Clifford Chance, New York patent litigator Leora Ben-Ami is set to join Kirkland & Ellis, according to a source familiar with the move.
Ben-Ami did not return requests for comment Tuesday. A Kirkland & Ellis spokeswoman declined to comment. While declining to say where Ben-Ami is headed, Kaye Scholer spokeswoman Sandi Sonnenfeld provided The Am Law Daily with a statement in which the firm wished her well and said, “While it is never easy when a valued colleague leaves, partners come and go at every law firm as part of the normal course of business.”
