Longtime Go Daddy general counsel Christine Jones announced last week via Twitter that it was “time for a new chapter” in her professional story. As online colleagues wished her well, Jones tweeted that deputy GC Nima Kelly (aka Nima Jones) would “keep the train running on time at @GoDaddy” in her absence.

Domainnamewire.com was the first to report that Jones would leave the internet domain-registry company Friday after a 10-year run.

Jones says she won’t be taking another job right away. “I’m going to retire for a couple of weeks,” she told CorpCounsel.com, “or as long as I can get.” She is considering various opportunities to join boards or advisory committees.
