In July the Special Olympics celebrated 45 years of increasing access to sports for millions of the intellectually disabled worldwide.
Chief legal officer Angela Ciccolo is a relatively recent addition to the organization. Before she joined in 2010, she was the first woman general counsel at the NAACP. But three years with the Special Olympics has given her plenty of time to reflect on what she loves about the nonprofit.
