Federal Government Agencies and their counsel are a little leery of e-discovery, according to a recent survey by Deloitte. Overall, confidence among federal legal professionals this year is stable—but Deloitte’s research found some “rising concerns about several aspects of their e-discovery abilities,” according to a release.

Among the concerns, only 38 percent of attorneys said they felt confidence in being able to demonstrate their agency’s electronically stored information is accurate, accessible and trustworthy, a number which dropped by 30 percent from last year. And those that were “not at all confident” rose from 23 percent in 2012 to 42 percent in 2013.
