There comes a point in the growth of many companies when it’s time to begin building an in-house legal department. That moment has come for business consulting and technology solutions company MorganFranklin Consulting, which recently appointed an experienced in-house attorney, Eric Reicin, as its first-ever general counsel.

Reicin joined the international firm in December at its McLean, Va., office—the company is based in McLean and in London—and is currently the only in-house attorney at the firm. “MorganFranklin provides the perfect combination,” Reicin told CorpCounsel.com. “It’s an execution-oriented management consulting firm that is big enough to have the capabilities and former personnel of the largest organizations, but small enough to avoid the restraints and bureaucracy that also come with those firms.”
