Over the last few months, the gradual rollout of the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obamacare) has brought plenty of drama to Washington, D.C., and to the country as a whole. However, Alden Bianchi, a member at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo and practice group leader of the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation practice, told CorpCounsel.com that companies need to start putting politics on the backburner and focus on adjusting to the health care law’s realities.

“Now that January 1, 2014, has come and gone, we’ve reached something of a watershed with the ACA—it’s not going away,” said Bianchi.
