With just days to go before the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos go head to head on Super Bowl Sunday, the media blitz is getting everyone in the game. So does that mean it’s OK to use the aggressively protected trademark phrase “Super Bowl” in your business ads or your social media status updates?

As attorney Aditi Mukherji explains in a post on FindLaw’s Free Enterprise, just because the Super Bowl is known for its ads doesn’t mean companies get a free pass on using the term.
