Richard Griffin, general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, recently issued a memo advising regional districts on what types of matters to submit for guidance from higher-ups—in other words, here’s where Griffin’s priorities lie.
The Feb. 25 memo broke issues into three groups, the first of which Griffin admitted “includes matters that involve general counsel initiatives or areas of the law and labor policy that are of particular concern to me.” And they should be of special concern to corporations and their in-house counsel as well, as the areas signify where Griffin seeks to expand the NLRB’s authority.
