The 2014 annual meeting season has begun, and both the C-suite and corporate secretaries will want to know what questions shareholders will be asking this year. Accounting and consulting firm BDO USA has put together a list of issues that companies should be thinking about as they hold their meetings and chart a course for 2014 and beyond.

Wendy Hambleton, a partner in the corporate governance practice of BDO USA and the firm’s national director of SEC services, told CorpCounsel.com that while the most urgent and pertinent issues for shareholders vary based on company and situation, there are a few that stand out.
