Who says there are no second chances? When Sysco Corporation offered Adam Skorecki a job as senior vice president and general counsel, it wasn’t the first time the company had courted the veteran attorney.

“I was offered this position once before, way back in 1988, but I decided not to take it,” he says. “I wanted the job, but my children were young, and I didn’t want to uproot them at that stage of their lives.”
