Chemical giant DuPont announced Tuesday the appointment of a new general counsel. Stacy Fox will join the Wilmington, Del.-based company, replacing longtime legal chief Thomas Sager, who is retiring after 37 years in the legal department.

“Stacy comes to us as a proven leader with exceptional experience as a lawyer and business executive,” DuPont chairwoman and CEO Ellen Kullman said in a statement announcing the new hire. “She will play an important role in supporting DuPont’s growth, and I am pleased to welcome her to the company.”
